On the Road with Jack Kerouac

Sounds like a title of a tv show but that's what I've been doing these past few days, trying to finish a Kerouac. Next in line is a Murakami: "Blind Willow Sleeping Woman", quite excited actually. New XO? show's coming up on the 12th (see above post) and another on the 20th at The Outpost.

For lack of a more heartfelt, immediate, and signifcant post, I present to you the last 5 text messages in my cellphone inbox:
"Someone couldn't stop saying 'I love you's to you Russ. Isn't that a good thing? Some people don't get to even hear it." - John Bengan , dear dear friend and dancing partner

"Nice-to-know things:

1. A jellyfish is 95% H2O.
2. Owls are the only birds who can see the color blue.

4. Camels have 3 eyelids.
5. A goldfish has a memory span of 3 seconds.
6. Pigs are the only animals other than humans that can get sunburn.
7. Rats can't vomit, that is why rat poison works.
8. Lobsters have blue blood.
9. Moths have white blood.
10. Dolphins sleep with one eye open.
11. A mosquito has 47 teeth.
12. Snails can sleep for 21 years..

Gude eve!" - Atty. Christine Ligtas, only sister

"The real art of conversation is not only to say the right thing at the right time, but also leave the wrong things unsaid at the very tempting moments." - Rebekah Granados, high school twin

"Haha, nara tarong: I see Rhys nag-green, si Russ nag-blue, si Liyo nga ga-yilu, ang mata ni Vera nga daku kaayu...si Yenyen ga-green, si Chai nag-white, ang butiki nga nag-'good night', ang mata ni Vera nga daku kaayu..." - Chai Fonacier, one of my little Buddhas

The Lee photoshoot pictures are getting redundant, I know. Here's to show how tired I am also of seeing myself in the same setting and getup:

Hehe. G'night everyone. Super perfundo on the early eve of your day!
